Volunteer Missions Statement: Volunteers share their skills, experiences and talents to assist staff in providing a nurturing environment to children in our care and to support the mission of the Saint Louis Crisis Nusery.

Saint Louis Crisis Nursery (SLCN) Volunteers are needed at our five Nursery locations to assist the professional, trained staff in taking care of children, ages birth through 12 years, during their stay at the Nursery.  Volunteers also assist with maintaining a welcoming, clean and safe Nursery environment.  In addition to volunteering in the Nursery, opportunities are available to assist with special events, fundraising, join our Junior Board, complete an intership at SLCN, and more.

All volunteers must have an understanding of and respect for children, with a non-judgmental attitude towards the children and their parents.  Volunteers must also be at least 14 years old and be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian until the age of 16.
