St. Louis Celebrities Serve Up Dinner at 20th Annual Celebrity Waitresses’ & Waiters’ Night 2010

75 St. Louis Celebrities served dinner, cocktails and dessert to over 800 guests at the Crisis Nursery’s annual Celebrity Waiters event Thursday, August 19th at Canyon Café, Cardwell’s at the Plaza and Fleming’s all at Plaza Frontenac raising over $76,000!!! 16th Annual Charity Golf Classic Raises over $81,000!

16th Annual Golf Classic held Monday, May 24th at Forest Hills Country Club. 140 players attended in 90 degree weather to support the Children of the Crisis Nursery. Major sponsors were: Emerson, Accenture, Centene, Hardee’s & Save-A-Lot.

12th Annual Razzle Dazzle Ball: Paris, Ooh La La! was held March 27, 2010 with a record-breaking crowd of 600 guests and 70 volunteers helping to raise over $295,000! Thank you to all of our very gracious and generous donors!

Party with a Purpose raises $14,400!
The Saint Louis Crisis Nursery’s Young Professionals Board hosted over 200 guests at their recent ‘Party with a Purpose’ November 12th at Bar Napoli. This year thanks to the generosity of many they were able to raise $14,400 for Care of the Kids! Event Sponsors included: Lambright Family, McCarthy, Leonard, & Kaemmerer, Carrollton Bank, Glazer’s MidWest, F.A.S.T., St. Louis Auto Dealers, Cathy & Matt Thayer & the Riverfront Times.
Over the Top for Tots Luncheon a Great Success!

400 guests helped us raise over $70,000 for the Healing Hearts program which provides art therapy to our child in St. Charles County. The Crisis Nursery also received an additional $25,000 through the UPS Foundation presented by Board Member Vince Blood. Shop ‘n Save CEO, Marlene Gebhard also surprised the Nursery with $10,000 from an in-store promotion. Jack Banas, Prosecuting Attorney St. Charles County received the Guardian Angel Award and St. Joseph Health Center was presented with the Children’s Champion Award.
