Our Boards

Our Executive Board of Directors

This diverse group works hard year round, serving as the governing body responsible for overseeing our mission, strategy, and financial health. They provide leadership, set policies, and ensure that our organization operates ethically and in compliance with legal requirements. Board members play a key role in fundraising, advocating for the nonprofit’s cause, and guiding the executive team to achieve long-term goals.

The YPB supports the organization by hosting fundraisers, organizing volunteer opportunities, and raising awareness about the Nursery’s mission. Members plan events, engage in community outreach, and advocate for children and families in crisis. The YPB also serves as a vital resource for connecting young professionals to the Nursery’s work, offering creative ideas and fresh energy to help strengthen and grow the organization’s impact.

  • Parent Advisory Board

The Saint Louis Crisis Nursery’s Parent Advisory Board is composed of parents who have graduated from our program. They meet monthly with our CEO to provide feedback on SLCN programming, offer insight into current community trends and needs, and help plan events for families in the community.

Parent Advisory Board members also play an active role in supporting parents currently enrolled in Nursery programming through regularly volunteering at Family Empowerment Events and sharing their experiences with other parents.
