Volunteer Coordinator

Maria started at the Crisis Nursery as a Practicum Student several years ago, but she has been coordinating volunteers at our Centene location since August 2022.

Maria says, “My favorite part about working at the Crisis Nursery is educating our volunteers and wrapping them into our Mission. It is so important for those involved, in ways big or small, to understand how helping us loops into our Mission of preventing child abuse and neglect. I love seeing the kiddos in our care having all of their needs met, given extra attention & love, and having everything needed readily available for them and our Staff. We truly have the best village of Volunteers to make this possible!
