April is Child Abuse Prevention Month!
Check out our events and activities throughout all of April. There are a variety of ways to support the Crisis Nursery: participate in one of the givebacks, donate to a drive, setup a “Pinwheel Garden” of your very own, and much more!!! Check back often for updates!

There are so many ways to join in on the fun! Order food during one of the above givebacks and the Nursery will receive a percentage of the money spent when you mention the giveback at checkout! You can eat good food and give back to the Nursery at the same time!!!

Papa Johns- Giveback Coupon Code
Papa Johns is partnering with the Crisis Nursery for Child Abuse Prevention Month! Order a pizza and use the coupon code: CRISISNURSERY to get 20% off. At the end of the month, they will donate back 20% of the proceeds generated from our code! Don’t feel guilty about eating pizza, it’s for a good cause!!!
Altar’d State- Mission Mondays
Altar’d State at the West County Mall has chosen the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery as their charity partner for this quarter! Every Monday through the middle of May, they will give the Crisis Nursery 10% of proceeds! So, go shop and support the Nursery!!!
Dewey’s Pizza Giveback Night- Tuesday, April 4 from 4-9 PM
Dewey’s Pizza in St. Charles (located at 1520 S 5th St., St. Charles, MO 63303) will be hosting a giveback night for the Crisis Nursery! Come out to Dewey’s or order in and support the Nursery! Just mention the giveback to your waiter or in the order notes and 20% of the proceeds will come back to help prevent child abuse and neglect. Eat a delicious pizza for dinner and support the Nursery!
Freddy’s Giveback Night- Tuesday, April 25 from 4-8 PM
Who doesn’t love Freddy’s?! Drive-through on your way home from work or stop in for dinner on Tuesday, the 25th! Mention the giveback to your cashier and 15% will come back to the Nursery!!! Stop by the Creve Coeur location and have dinner with us!

Razzle Dazzle Ball- April 1
The 2023 Razzle Dazzle Ball: Bowties for Babies is on Saturday, April 1! Tickets are SOLD OUT! Thanks to all of our supporters for making this the best Razzle Dazzle Ball we’ve ever had!!!
Wear Blue Day- Friday, April 7
The first Friday of April is Wear Blue Day! Have your office or team wear blue and tag us in your pictures on socials! We have a very generous donor who is offering to donate $20 for every picture we are tagged in! Wear Blue and help us raise money to fight Child Abuse and Neglect!!!
Donation Drive- Saturday, April 8 from 10AM-1PM
The St. Charles County CAPS is hosting a drive for the Nursery! Run by Sara’s Boxes and Boards (8803 Veterans Memorial Pkwy, O’Fallon, MO 63366) on Saturday the 8th to drop off your donations. The Nursery Wish List is available here.
FREE Community Paper Shred Event- Saturday, April 15 from 9-11:30AM
Gateway Metro Federal Credit Union picked the Nursery as their Charity of the Year! They offer free community shred events throughout the year. We will have a table set up at this event, so come out to shred your paper and say hi!
Kids Awards- Tuesday, April 19th
This special event is where the Crisis Nursery honors our outstanding staff, community members, volunteers and partners of the Nursery!

Look out for Pinwheel Gardens throughout the Greater St. Louis Area during the month of April! Blue Pinwheels are the symbol for Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention. Add your pinwheels to your yard or office green space to raise awareness and stop Child Abuse and Neglect!
